In this country it is possible to build a house according to one's own individual wishes. Building requirements are kept to a minimum. Whether in Dominican, Moorish or Colonial style, there is no problem at all up to a height of 11
meters. We build ready for occupancy with a fixed price guarantee; any differences to the original building plan which customers may wish are calculated separately.
About six months are needed to build a house of approximately 100 square meters.
The HVB company strives to provide the best quality and quantity of material toward building your home. On top of the foundations, paved flooring of equal strength is laid with pipes for water and electrical services.
 Floors, foundations and all supports are made of reinforced concrete.
Outer and inner walls are made of hollow concrete blocks with reinforced concrete rods in sandwich construction, bundled and held with anchored concrete rings for static considerations.
The roof construction is of reinforced concrete. The pitch of the roof and the eaves are in line with the Object outline. All roofing is laid with Venezuelan tiles, embedded in cement mortar.
For the outside windows and
doors, we advise our customers to choose solid wood such as mahogany or cedar.
All electrical outlets are inter-connected through empty conduits - for antennae, telephones, cable TV and TV.
The hot-water and cold-water pipes are made of polythene with yellow brass clamping joints and a water tank. The water pipes operate as a pipe-in system under a pressure of 6 bar.
All floor areas, including the
terraces, are laid out with either Spanish or Italian tiles in a layer of mortar.
The bathrooms and toilets are fitted according to the Object outline. The basins are made of
crystal porcelain with chrome plated fittings. The toilet are provided with P-type or S-type traps, towel rail, soap dish and
toilet paper holder. The shower has chrome plated fittings, a shower curtain and soap dish.
A fitted kitchen is made of solid wood wall cupboards according to the plans, but without electric household appliances and kitchen utensils.
The bedroom is fitted in line with the plan with built-in cupboards made of solid wood with a
ventilation grill.
Should you require it, we are able to design your garden, sow a lawn and plant borders,
and do the rough and finer leveling
of beds as well as construct paths and driveway following the outlined plan. We can surround your plot with natural stone, brickwork, hibiscus hedges or whatever else you may wish.
